"Ol' Red" - Georgetown, CO

$350.00
Sold Out

6×9”, Oil on primed linen panel.

Painted en plein air, or on location, in Georgetown, CO as part of a 2-hour quick paint through the Georgetown Plein Air Convention. Working in a condensed timeline pushes me to be looser, impressionistic, and more gestural. There was a huge celebration for Colorado’s 150th birthday, and as part of that, a ton of collectors brought their classic cars and came out to watch the 2-hour paint out and subsequent art show afterwards.

This piece comes in a custom, handmade frame built by my husband.
