Completed 100% en plein air during the Georgetown Plein Air Convention, this stands as a statement piece to Colorado’s crystalline waterfalls, turquoise rivers, and beautiful maroon rocks. This whole scene pulled me in, and I was compelled to paint it. I can’t help but stare at some of the colors reflected in the work, from glinting, warm highlights where the sun shone through the upper portion of the falls, to the deeper emerald layers of the basin below.
This piece comes varnished, and can be custom-framed upon request to ensure it is ready to hang as soon as you receive it.
